Introduction: 

Biruni University was established in 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey, by the World Education Foundation with the goal of providing strong and positive knowledge to society. The university focuses primarily on health sciences to contribute to the global academic community through strong theoretical and scientific studies. 

To achieve this goal, the university has held numerous meetings with influential figures, leaders in various fields, and scholars in Turkey. 

The university was named after the famous scholar “Al-Biruni” who made significant contributions to various sciences during the Islamic Golden Age. His groundbreaking ideas serve as a future vision for the university, aiming to achieve global scientific success similar to his achievements. In 2009, an asteroid was named after him, and in 1974, UNESCO recognized him as a “Universal Genius.” 

Where is Biruni University Located? 

Biruni University is located on the European side of Istanbul, specifically in the Zeytinburnu district, near Marmaray Kazlıçeşme Station and the Cevizlibağ Metrobus Station, as well as the Eurasia Tunnel. 

The university’s central location provides easy access to essential services, parks, tourist attractions, and large shopping malls. 

Biruni University Campus: 

The university has a main campus in the center of Istanbul, which includes all its faculties and schools. However, student accommodations and the university’s hospitals are located in different areas.
